Making a carded, or failed, delivery is easy in the mydelman Android app
Scan the label barcodes for the consignment
Start your delivery by scanning the label barcode, in the same way you did while loading items.
When you find that you can't complete the delivery, tap the "Delivery cannot be completed" button.
Failed delivery page
The failed delivery page opens where you can provide details of why the delivery failed.
First of all, indicate if a card was left for the receiver by tapping the toggle next to "Was a card left?".
Reason for failure
Tap the "Reason for failure" prompt and choose one of the options to indicate why the delivery failed.
Then press the OK button to save.
Failed delivery notes
You can also type in extra notes explaining the reason for the failed delivery.
When you have finised, tap the "Save delivery info" button to save the record of this failed delivery.
Failed delivery completed
When you have completed the Failed delivery information page, you are returned to the Delivering Items page, and the failed delivery will be cleared from the list.
The latitude and longitude where you completed the Failed delivery information is recorded in the mydelman Android app, as evidence to the receiver that you did attempt delivery at their address, so it is important to complete this information while at the receiver's delivery location.
